Interface of the Application
Stellar Speedup Mac provides an interactive user interface that makes working with it quite simpler. On its home screen, you see three embedded modules:  Speedup Now, Clean My Mac, and Uninstaller. However, before taking any step forward with this app, you need to set scan preferences, as discussed below:

For this, click Speedup Mac option on the Mac toolbar and choose Preferences in the context menu. This launched the Preferences window, wherein you can set scan preferences for these modules.

The General tab facilitates including Caches, Logs, and Files in the scan result during Speedup Now operation, whereas it includes Files in the scan result of the Clean My Mac operation.

The Folder Search tab facilitates specifying some specific folders to be scanned for Universal Binaries and Language Files during both Speedup Now and Clean My Mac operations.

The Language tab allows searching for and uninstalling all unwanted Language Files that were installed along with Mac OS X installation.

The Files tab facilitates applying filter (i.e. file type, size, and access date) for scanning the Mac drive during both Speedup Now and Clean My Mac operations.

The Devices tab allows setting rules for scanning and clearing trashes and junk files in the external devices attached to your Mac.
In the Advanced tab, you can set advanced options for Sound, Uninstaller, and Trash Monitor.
Under Scheduler tab, you can also schedule system scanning and checking for updates automatically.
In the Ignore List, you can select the applications that you do not want should be scanned.

Working with the Application
The home screen of the Stellar Speedup Mac application includes three modules, i.e. Speedup Now, Clean My Mac, and Uninstaller to clean your Mac. To figure out how these modules work on your Mac, go through the following:

Speedup Now
Among the three Mac cleanup modules embedded on Stellar Speedup Mac, Speedup Now is the primary module that works on the boot volume of your Mac system. Clicking this module initiates a thorough scan on the boot volume of your Mac drive. This scanning includes cache files, log files, system junk, trashes & leftovers, manage extensions, universal binaries, language files, large files, and duplicate files. After the scanning is finished, you can click Clean Up button to remove all these files quickly. However, you can preview these files individually in the scan result window before removing them. Now, since Stellar Speedup Mac cleans up Mac boot volume, this frees up disk space and improves the performance of your Mac.

Clean My Mac
Apart from the boot volume, secondary volumes of your Mac drive also require regular cleanup in a similar way. Based on the scan preferences you set, Stellar Speedup Mac scans the secondary volumes of your Mac drive for unnecessary large files, universal binaries, and duplicate files that eat up system resources and disk space unnecessarily. After the scanning is finished, it displays the scan result.

In the scan result window, you can preview these files individually. After that, click Clean Up button to remove all these system wastes that is accumulated on the secondary volumes of your Mac drive.

Uninstaller
In addition to the Mac cleaning application, Stellar Speedup Mac works as an uninstaller for the applications installed on your Mac. For this, you just need to drag the applications from the /Applications folder and drop them to the uninstall area of its Uninstaller module. As you drop an application to the uninstall area, it searches for all system files associated to that app. After that, scan result window displays all these files, wherein you can select these files and click Uninstall Now button to remove them.
